Chimaera -- Chimaera has been roleplaying for five years. She is a nursing student whose favorite things include science fiction and fantasy, genetics, Renaissancefestivals, and anything to do with theater.

Echidna -- Echidna has been RPing for 5 years, and started on a game called Aarinfel. Her interests include reading, teaching herself Japanese, sleeping, and watching cats attack pipe cleaners.

Gryphon -- Gryphon has been lurking around on MUSHes for over a dozen years, starting back on the original DuneMUSH and PernMUSH. Since those early days, he has enjoyed both roleplay and coding, and has served as an admin/codewiz for at least half a dozen games. He works in tech support, and claims to actually enjoy it, so you know he's a patient and easygoing guy.

Merrow -- Merrow stumbled upon this whole MUSH thing a little over five years ago. She's been roleplaying online since then, and this is her first staff position. In the real world she's managed to graduate from college and is currently slogging through post-student life working for a tiny community newspaper. She is (of course) a Pisces.

Pixie -- Pixie was sucked into the vortex of online text games 10 years ago and has been stuck there ever since. She's been with AF since before it opened and when not tethered to her computer, spends her time reading, sewing and perfecting the art of procrastination.

Tengu -- Tengu has been wasting time on MUSHes for over 10 years. Other interests include anime, science fiction and fantasy, and being a perpetual student.

Patroni

Our new player helpers are called Patroni. If you feel a bit lost once you've logged into the game, you can talk to one of them on the new player or guest channel, or page them directly. The command '+rwho pat' will show you a list of those online. If you're interested in becoming a Patronus yourself, take a look at the Patronus Application.

Plot Committee

To help the Admins come up with, finetune, and run plots, we have a player Plot Committee made up of players of Features and Original Characters. If you have a plot you'd like to run past people, you can '+mail plots'.
