Alere Flammas is a text-based interactive roleplaying environment. It's not too difficult to learn enough to get started. You can log in and get started by reading the 'news' files, or you can spend more time on this website to discover what we're all about.

Our theme is Harry Potter and we picked up the story where Goblet of Fire (#4) left off. We have characters from the books, such as Harry and Draco, as well as original characters created by our players. We opened in December of 2001 and progress at a rate of 2 game years per 1 RL year, so Harry and his peers have left Hogwarts and entered the adult world. Our roleplay is focussed on Hogwarts, neighboring Hogsmeade, and London. Anyone can play a student, a young child, an adult, a teacher, a ghost, a house elf, a portrait, and more. And you needn't be limited to one concept, as we allow players to play multiple characters.

We have scheduled events several times a week, which include classes, GMed Quidditch games, parties, and anything and everything we and our players can think of that might be interesting. We have Sortings every six RL months, which many find to be a good time to get started.
